I’m sure you’re shocked to hear this news, but Richard Dawkins receives hate mail. It might surprise you, however, to hear the vulgar things some Christians send to him.
Get your popcorn ready, because I found videos of Dawkins reading his hate mail. (WARNING, some of the language is R-rated!)
Do you feel like watching Dawkins read some of his hate mail, but only for a minute, and with the worst words censored? You’re in luck.
The last line he reads is the best.
Wait, you want to see him read more hate mail, but with no censorship? And you want him to do it next to a crackling fire, with a cat? Sure, we can cook that up for you.
What do you think of these videos? What kind of theology produces this venom?

I cannot imagine the theology that leads to this venom. I can’t. At the same time, I can’t imagine why Richard has fake logs and gas fire in his fireplace – so so so fake. Intellectually honest people use real logs, and they spend the entire evening trying to get the stupid logs to burn instead of reading emails out loud, or writing books, or pretty much doing anything else. Since it is currently summer in North Carolina, however, I have time to read blogs and watch videos, and my family currently does not hate me for spending the whole evening cursing my stupid real logs and my stupid absence of real fire. But this extra time is probably unfortunate because I am now thinking about organizing a seminar called “You Suck Dawkins, Go Burn In Hell: A Theology of Love”. I have a non-DDS anonymous grant to pay for church vans to transport participants. Let me know if you want to help with logistics. I have stockpiled anti-venom, which I can do since I am a doctor. Thanks for the post.

I like your seminar idea. What’s your anti-venom? Barth? My anti-venom is my favorite funny video. It puts a smile on any face.

That just made me laugh very hard. I can’t imagine why anyone would sign such a letter as “Christian living for God” but … well it seems Dawkins isn’t the only deluded one out there 😉

Regarding the person who had three words from God…”I LOVE YOU” would have been well said. I am ashamed of the way our supposedly “Christian” brothers and sisters feel in their hearts. This is not an accurate representation of God and rather disappointing.
